Mayank Raj Verma | Consultant
Mayank is a 1998 Sales and Marketing post-graduate from NIS School of Marketing. He started his career with the Times Group in corporate sales, and then joined Casio India to help them launch the Electronic Musical Instruments business in India. He was instrumental in setting up the division, building the channel sales processes and establishing deep relationships with channel partners across India in his 2 years at Casio, after which he moved to Network Programs India Ltd., a software service provider. Over 3 years, he helped the organization build deep business relationships with key accounts and established the sales processes. Additionally, he worked closely with the Quality team to establish processes for achieving CMM level 5 Certification. His next move took him to NIS Sparta as a Business Manager; he grew to Regional Head (North) position within 4 years. At NIS, he had the opportunity to experience some of the world’s best sales practices – Huthwaite’s SPIN Selling, Account Strategy for Major Sales, and Negotiation Skills to name a few. He also assisted many FMCG, Durable and Services organizations in establishing sales processes and building sales capability. Post NIS, he worked with MetLife Insurance India, where he led the sales capability development for India and was instrumental in the development and implementation of the assessment processes, people development systems and talent retention system.
Mayank joined Vyaktitva in 2009. He focuses on building sustainable OD and HR solutions that make a business impact while leveraging people’s performance and potential.
T.D. Chandrasekhar | Consultant
TD, as he is fondly called, is an engineer from IIT Delhi, 1989 batch. He followed 4 years of what he remembers as ‘pure fun period’ with even more fun at XLRI Jamshedpur, where he majored in Finance and General Management in 1991.
TD started his career in NIIT in Corporate Planning and spent 6 years helping them in their growth phase. He then joined PwC, primarily helping Fortune 500 Indian clients in the Oil Industry in large-scale strategic projects. Post that, he joined back NIIT to help implement SAP in their offices worldwide. TD moved to American Express in 2001, in their Global Reengineering team and led internal consulting assignments in the US. After spending 4 years in the US, TD was assigned the task of setting up and leading the India office of Ameriprise Financial (the Financial Services division of American Express). He successfully built a high performing company, which is involved in high-end analytics and financial planning support.
TD is an expert in the area of employee engagement initiatives having led teams that have reported lowest attrition rates and highest engagement scores. He brings expertise in leading and building high-performing teams and in conceptualizing and executing complex projects. His experience in working with teams in the US, South-East Asia and Europe makes him believe that ‘in the end all business environments depend on people wanting to walk into the office on cloudy Monday mornings!’
Greg Chapman | Consultant
Greg, a performance consultant with Vyaktitva, has previously worked for Interglobe Technologies and GECIS. He has put in a staggering number of hours (> 7400) in facilitation and training interventions across these organizations. His experience in training spans more than 42 different organizations in varied sectors – Automobile Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Telephony, BPO, Real Estate Consultancies, Energy; and he has also trained people in the UN. He has facilitated interventions in the following areas –
Self-Awareness, Organizational Culture Change, Critical Thinking, Leadership Development, High-Impact Communication Skills, and Psychological Profiling (MBTI etc.) for mid to senior management.
Greg is a linguist, and is certified in NLP; in addition to his mainstream consulting role at Vyaktitva, he is a guest faculty at the IILM B-school (Gurgaon and Delhi).
Chitra Chaturvedi | Consultant
Chitra is a Training and Instructional Design professional with a couple of decades of experience in education and training. Chitra joined NIIT in the early 80s as a faculty and systems analyst. Besides delivering training and developing IT systems, Chitra spent a few years in Education and Training operations before a long stint with NIIT’s Knowledge Solutions Business (KSB). As a member of KSB, she held various roles in the Instructional Design, Project and Account Management, and Quality functions, and was consultant to large global companies, managing end-to-end training solutions for them.
Chitra moved to NIS Sparta in 2004, where she led the design and development of learning content for the retail and enterprise businesses, and set up the Knowledge Management function for the organization. Wanting to experience the other side of the Learning function, Chitra moved to MTS as Head–Content in 2009 and was responsible for strategizing the training function for the organization.
Chitra has found that her true interest lies in the areas of human behavior, communication and leadership, and as Consultant at Vyaktitva, which she joined in 2010, she is engaged in many OD and training interventions with premier organizations.
Rahul Agarwal | Consultant
Rahul has a Master’s in HR and OD from Delhi School of Economics. He has more than ten years of experience in Training and Consulting. He started his career with TATA Consultancy Services where he last headed the Direct Recruitment team for North India (spanning 8 offices in 4 locations). He has also worked with FITTI, Genesis Public Relations and Chrysalis HRD in their HR / Talent / OD Consulting teams. He has extensive experience in major behavior change, teamwork and team building and leadership interventions. He is certified in Guidance and Counseling and trained on psychometric assessment using various instruments.
Rahul’s other significant passion is fitness and health; he holds a PG Diploma in “Wellness Management” from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University and Apollo Hospitals Educational and Research Foundation, is certified in Lifestyle Medicine and possesses the distinction of being a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Karate from World Seido Karate Organization, New York. He conducts one of the Indian chapters of Seido Karate at Noida, and runs workshops on Health and Lifestyle Management, Stress Management and Self Defense.
Parul Varghese | Consultant
Parul comes with over 10 years of Training experience, and in these years Parul has put in more than 4500 hrs of facilitation and training time. Parul’s expertise lies in the domain of Soft Skills (Young Manager’s Development Programs, Communication Skills, Leadership Programs, etc) and Insurance. In her previous role at Genpact, she was involved in knowledge transfer of various processes to India in the Insurance and Finance Businesses. As a Business Trainer, Parul has worked very closely with businesses to understand the training needs, provide training solutions, develop client-specific content and assist individuals in developing their Personal Development Plans.
As a Consultant at Vyaktitva, Parul has trained at more then 18 premier organizations – Pepsico, Bharti, Reliance, ITC Hotels, Dr. Reddy’s Foundation to name a few; and across various industries – Telecom, FMCG, Finance, Hospitality, Delhi Government, BPO and Pharmaceutical.
Parul was the college topper for all 3 years, during her graduation from College of Vocational Studies, Delhi University. She holds a double Post-Graduate degree with specialization in Banking and Insurance Management and Human Resource Management. Parul is an energetic, lively, eager and animated facilitator with a passion for learning that has always left an impact on her trainees and clients
Nandita Warrier | Consultant
Nandita Warrier is a post-graduate in management with 14 years of industry experience. She started her career with Sun Pharma, where as a management trainee with the L&D cell, she developed a strong penchant for training. All her career moves entrenched her firmly in a line business role, but she kept alive her passion for training by being an active internal trainer.
Nandita spent a major part of her career in the Education industry where she started as an SBU Head. Under her stewardship, the center achieved 200% growth within two years of launch, a first in the company. She moved to Mumbai as the National Operations Manager and shortly thereafter, rose to head an independent business vertical. As a Divisional Head, her responsibilities included handling a P&L and introducing new revenue initiatives for the company.
Her preference for the training room over the boardroom brought her to Vyaktitva with whom she is associated as an independent consultant. Nandita has worked on OD and Training assignments for a varied clientele spanning diverse sectors – Consumer Durables, FMCG, Banking & Financial Services, BPO, etc. She is MBTI certified and has executed coaching assignments and learning journeys for clients.
Nandita is based at Mumbai. When not in the training room, she is either occupied as a freelance writer or pursues other interests like social work and fitness.
G Krishnamurthy (GK) | Consultant
GK completed engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1981 and PGDM from IIM Calcutta in 1983, where he majored in Systems and Production.
GK started his career in ITC as a software programmer before returning to IIM Calcutta as one of the members of a Computer-Aided Management Centre project. There, apart from driving software projects for various companies, he taught courses on database management, decision support systems, expert systems et al. He then joined NIIT where he spent 10 years in various roles, including corporate consulting and training, software exports, and learning software. After moving out of NIIT, he was involved in software product development for 10 years in various roles in GE, Quark and iPolicy Networks (a startup that was taken over by Tech Mahindra).
GK has been extremely interested in analytics as a tool to enable technology to create an impact on business performance. He has handled a number of projects in this area over the last 20 years in India and South-East Asia.
Robin Sawan | Consultant
Robin Sawan has spent more than 24 years in Training and Development. He has worked extensively with people from diverse backgrounds and different age groups. He has training experience in varied areas – Transformation, Leadership, Operations Training, Team Building, Sales and Communication, Relationship Building, Effectiveness in Projects, Handling Breakdowns, Operating Effectively in the Face of Difficult Circumstances, Attitudinal Shift, Event Management, Tele-Marketing, Customer Service and Productivity. His width and depth of training and people-related experience make him a natural across various types of roles be it mentor, coach and trainer.
Prior to joining Vyaktitva, Robin worked with Max New York Life Insurance as Head of Operations Training. He is also a Program Leader for Landmark Education and has been leading seminars for more than 15 years now.
As Robin puts it, his special skill is his ability to see the big picture without losing out the micro-level detail, and this makes him an “out of the box” thinker.
Smita Bhandari Sahay | Consultant
Smita did her Masters in English Literature from Delhi University with the intent of joining the teaching profession. However, she decided to take a break for a year and joined a Citigroup company in 1992. The Financial Services group was just opening up and it was an extremely exciting place to be in. She stayed with Citi for 7 years and handled various roles and responsibilities in the Risk function. Along with her job she also completed a Masters in Business Administration from Faculty of Management Studies and 1999 saw her join GE Capital in the exciting and emerging world of BPO operations. After 3 years, she decided to once again challenge herself and moved into the exciting world of Learning and Development. During 8 years in this world, she has led the Learning function for global brands such as GE and Citigroup. During her corporate career, she has received numerous awards at corporate and global levels.
Her experience with Front Line Operations combined with Learning has helped her to develop and deliver L&D solutions and strategies that effectively meet the human capital development needs of organizations, while, at the same time, keeping in mind business needs and expectations. Life has now come full circle as she joins the team of Vyaktitva and pursues her original dream!
Lipika Mohanty | Consultant
Lipika is a HR Strategic Advisory Consultant. She has over 16 years of experience in Management, Human Resources Management and Consulting. She has done extensive work in the areas of Organizational Design and Development, Process Design and Development, including Design and Administration of Assessment and Development Centres, Executive Counseling, etc. She has experience across industries – FMCG, Architectural Firms, Automobiles, Telecom, IT, ITES etc. with some of the biggest names in the industry such as Serco, Nokia, CavinKare, Escotel, Godrey Philips and others.
Lipika’s experience encompasses HR Advisory and Strategic Consulting for start-ups and overseas clients, Assessment of Organization Design and Readiness to enable them to manage and sustain growth, Development of Policy and Procedure Frameworks to manage new business complexity and Setting up of Performance Management Systems to ensure a motivated and empowered organization. Her education combines a basic background in Psychology with post-graduate specialization in Business Management from XIMB Bhubaneshwar. She is also an accredited administrator of 16PF instrument.
Meenu Iyer | Consultant
Meenu is an Instructional Design and Learning professional. An Economics graduate from Delhi University, she started working with NIIT in 1986 as a trainer for career students and corporates. When NIIT started its Instructional Design practice in 1988 she was one of the core team members for this practice, which at the time was not only new to NIIT but also new to the Indian corporate world. Meenu has experienced a wide gambit of roles in this practice – from developer of NIITs career programs, to designing and managing custom content development for NIITs clients, providing custom solutions to clients and advising them on Instructional Design initiatives in the areas of e-learning and facilitated learning, and business development for NIIT. She moved to Knowledge Platform (KP), a Singapore-based e-learning company, to set up their India delivery team in New Delhi, and build systems and processes for successful engagement on projects with KP teams across the world. Subsequently, she joined IBM to head the Solutioning role for IBM India’s Learning practice, where she had the opportunity to build Learning offerings that involved not only new capabilities but also newer ways of collaboration and execution across different business groups of IBM. She also managed training needs of a large IBM team that has one of the largest telecom providers as its client.
As an associate, Meenu brings to the Vyaktitva group a deep understanding of Training Design, Delivery and Management, and its impact on business.
Pooja Agarwal | Consultant
Pooja is an HR professional with over 11 years of experience in varied industries. After completing her master’s degree in HR and OD from Delhi School of Economics, she worked with Tata Consultancy Services, Bharti Airtel, Unicef and the British High Commission in India.
Pooja is a certified MBTI administrator and a Professional Coach and has in her repertoire an extremely successful career in corporate roles of an HR Generalist and in Centre of Excellence profiles where she had the opportunity to focus on the Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Learning verticals.
As an associate at Vyaktitva, Pooja is currently helping the organization in its transformation journey through dedicated focus on internal processes and systems – the aim being to ensure that Vyaktitva can offer its clients much more through highly engaged, charged and happy “Vyaktis”.
Alongside this challenging role at Vyaktitva, Pooja is charting new territory as a parent of a dynamic 7-year old boy! She loves to sing and dance. She also holds interest in karate, which she is currently learning from her black belt karate instructor husband!
Promila Razdan Ayyangar | Consultant
Promila has over 29 years of corporate experience; a large part of this was in the technology services / training sector. A post-graduate in Business Management from IRMA, she spent her early years at NDDB as a Project Manager and developed various cooperatives across India on the successful Anand pattern. She was chosen by then Chairman, Dr Verghese Kurien, to be his Executive Assistant where she got the opportunity to interact with some of the great leaders across politics, industry and villages where grass root leadership was changing the destiny of the unorganized poor by galvanizing them to unite and rise against exploitation by middle men. These years shaped her life’s philosophy and the deep belief that empowerment and leadership can make the difference in people’s lives.
During the IT rise in India, Promila joined NIIT, which was the leader in Computer Education in India. As head of sales for NIIT Education, she led the Education-Industry collaboration, which was to open the floodgates for fresh technology aspirants to find acceptance within the industry. For most part of her NIIT career, Promila was engaged in Business Development and Consulting; she also has a brief 2-year stint in HR when she was posted to NIIT Europe, UK to integrate a newly acquired company. She successfully ran HR for NIIT offices in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and the Middle East, establishing the unique culture of NIIT and building their respective HR policies and practices. She was chosen to be a Member of NIIT Chairman’s Path Finders Squadron (the topmost honor in the organization) in 2000-2001.
